UAB Career Services offers this job listing service as a convenience to students and alumni up to a year. This service contains work study, campus, part-time, full-time and career positions. This listing is contained within DragonTrail and must be accessed through DragonTrail.

Positions contained within DragonTrail, represent only about 30% of available jobs. In most instances, a substantial amount of effort is required in finding a position. Effort by you. The good news is UAB Career Services is a tremendous source of information.

Employers

Employers wishing to post a position with UAB Career Services have two options:

1.	Register in DragonTrail and follow the instructions for posting jobs.(Preferred)
2.	Email the following information to careerservices@uab.edu and a staff member will post the information within 24 hours. * Company/Organization name * Contact person * Contact information (address, phone, fax, email, etc.) * Job title * Job description * Qualifications desired * Salary/Wage * How should students apply

Career Services does not post personal positions for individuals.

If you post a part-time position, a UAB Career Services staff member will contact you each month that your position is listed to gather the following data required by the U.S. Department of Education's Job Location and Development Program.

1) Whether the position you listed with us has been filled;
2) If this position was filled by a UAB student;
3) Tthe wage or salary and number of hours worked of the UAB student who accepted the position.

As a part of the federal reporting requirements for the above program, we are required to report the success of UAB students in finding jobs.This information is used for reporting purposes ONLY, and will be held in the strictest confidence.
