Volunteering

Volunteering is one more way for students to actively pursue opportunities to work in an environment that is of interest to them. One of the best ways for a student to gain insights into a particular field or organization is to volunteer with them. There are countless opportunities for students to make worthwhile contributions to an organization while at the same time gaining professional experience and important contacts in the field.

For an employer, volunteering experiences represent short-term, low commitment opportunities to introduce students to a career in industry.
